Carole Turner is an American artist, from Portland, Oregon, now living in Istanbul. In “POFUDUK,” her first sculpture exhibition in Istanbul, she continues to explore her fascination with coaxing soft fluffy things from hard materials. For this show she has carved stone and fabricated steel to create a collection of softly voluptuous figures, lush and tufted forms, and billowy clouds.

Carole’s sculpture is exhibited internationally, and she continues to be commissioned to create monumental sculptures in many countries. Her works can be found in the collections of museums, municipalities, sculpture parks, and corporations in Italy, Argentina, Germany, Vietnam, Russia, South Korea, Austria, Poland, Romania, Mexico, Egypt, Turkey, China, Austria, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, and the United States.
